Why & When ?

  • Improve poor ground conditions
  • embankment and structure construction can meet project performance.
  • Soil replacement is not feasible for environmental or technical reasons, or it is too costly

Ground improvement involves the modification of soil properties or constructing inclusions within the soil to achieve a required performance. Soil Tech experience providing optimal ground improvement solutions spans four decades and thousands of projects.

Ground Improvement Techniques

  • Cement, compaction Grouting
  • Jet Piling
  • Vibro Compaction
  • Vacuum Consolidation
  • Soil Mixing
  • Ground freezing
  • Vibro-replacement stone columns
  • Electro Osmosis

Injection System for Expansive Soils

SOILTECH has been sought by clients in the practice of ground improvement/modification over a decade with consistent value additions to their infrastructure. Our experience entails the high caliber of technical accomplishments with total client satisfaction to date.

Injection system for expansive soil is an in-situ method of treating expansive clays by pressure injection of an aqueous solution of water, lime slurry, or potassium chloride.

Expansive clay is a primary source of heave-induced structural distress. The injection of fluids into expensive clay soil is a proven and cost effective method for reduction of heave. SOILTECH offers all types of injection systems to the construction industry, including lime, water and chemical injections.

Injection Systems,

  • Water injections
  • Potassium injections
  • Lime injections

Typical injection depths are 24m deep under building foundations and up to 12m or greater depth under railroad sub grades and landfills. The injection method is an economical, in-situ stabilization system with a 30 year history of treating cohesive soils. Injection methods vary according to the type of material being injected.
